Our ethics statement sets the welfare, veld care and legal standards we keep for deer husbandry and trophy hunting in South Africa.

We put animal welfare, veld care and legal compliance at the centre of every decision. All deer are managed under the supervision of experienced handlers and veterinarians, with humane slaughter for venison at our registered partner abattoir. Trophy opportunities are strictly fair chase: mature animals only, no canned hunts, and each harvest is recorded for conservation and age-class records. We do not support or facilitate unethical hunting practices. Our pasture and veld management aims to support natural behaviour, genetic diversity and healthy herds, with correct fencing and permits for both animal safety and compliance with the NEMBA invasive species regulations.
We can provide access to our team for background, interviews or comment on deer farming, venison supply and responsible trophy harvest, plus site visit opportunities by prior appointment. Our team includes specialists in camp management, animal handling, cold chain, veterinary liaison, stud records, pasture care and educational outreach across the Eastern Cape, Free State, KZN Midlands, Western Cape, Limpopo and Lowveld. For visits, please allow time for permit checks, biosecurity measures and, if needed, state veterinary clearance. We do not give access to sensitive camp areas or release live animal numbers.
