Our privacy notice explains how we collect, use, keep and share the personal details you send through our contact form.
When you send us a message through our contact form, we receive your email address, the name you use in your message, and any other details you include, such as your farm name, business details, permit status, or delivery address if you make an enquiry or place an order.
We do not collect information through forms, cookies or any other means. We do not buy or use personal data from other sources.
We use your information so we can reply to your enquiry, confirm that you hold the correct permits for live animals, arrange visits, fill orders, or give advice on farm management, stocking or conservation breeding.
If you order venison, we may ask for cold-chain delivery or abattoir details only to process your order safely and lawfully.
We keep your email and any order or visit details for as long as we are working with you, or as long as needed for legal, audit, veterinary or traceability records.
If there is no further contact for 24 months, we securely delete or archive your details unless we are required to keep them for animal movement, disease control or food safety records.
We only share your information if needed for your order or visit, and only with partners who need it to do their part of the work: cold-chain couriers, our registered partner abattoir, or veterinarians when animal health, movement or traceability rules require it.
We do not sell or pass on your details to any other business or third party.
You may ask us to correct or delete your information, or to tell you what we have on record, as allowed by the Protection of Personal Information Act.
Our information officer is based at Astros Marketing (Pty) Ltd. If you have a privacy question or request, please send a message through our contact form and we will assist you.
