Contact the Deer Farming team

Send us a message

Tell us about your deer farming interest, preferred species, herd size and farm location. Fields marked * are required.

How to reach us

Tell us your name, what you need and which of our locations you would like to connect with, using the contact form. We reply by email, or by phone if you prefer to talk. All visits are by appointment only, which keeps the camps calm, the cold chain secure and our team focused on the animals.

Our admin and post are handled through Astros Marketing (Pty) Ltd, 2 Makro Place, Sunnyrock 1401. For deliveries or courier parcels, please send a message first so someone is present to receive them.

What to include in your message

  • Lodge, restaurant or chef supply: your location, intended use, estimated order size, delivery window and any cold chain requirements.
  • Stud purchase or live deer: your permit status, location, fencing details and what species or bloodline interests you.
  • Stocking or veld advice for game farms: your location, camp size, existing game mix and water sources.
  • Education day or college visit: number of students, institution, preferred location and season.
  • Agritourism or booked visit: group size, preferred date, interests (herd tours, veld walks, venison tastings).
  • Press or media: story focus, publication, deadline and key contacts.

Contact details and business hours

We reply in ordinary business hours, Monday to Friday, except public holidays. Every message gets an answer; in calving season and at veld work peaks, allow a few extra days.

For farm visits, venison orders and herd work, we operate by prior booking only. This lets us match times to the deer’s routine and ensure a team member is ready to welcome you at the right gate.

Planning your visit by appointment

All our visits are strictly by appointment at our home farm or regional gates. For your safety and the welfare of the herds, we do not allow walk-ins or unscheduled stops at any camp or stand. Once your visit is booked, we send directions, biosecurity notes and what to bring for the weather, and ask about any Halaal or other dietary needs.

If you have mobility needs or require a specific educational focus, let us know in advance so we can organise a practical and welcoming experience. Our team looks forward to meeting you in person, one veld morning at a time.
